This pair of Chinese porcelain plaques features delicate "famille rose" enamel paintings of birds perched among blossoming peonies and ripening peaches. Each panel is inscribed with poetic calligraphy and red seals, referencing the cyclical Wuchen year (1928) and the artist's studio at Zhushan. The porcelain is set into elaborate dark wood frames featuring high-relief carvings of archaic vessels and floral motifs, topped with decorative bronze hangers. These works exemplify the refined "Scholar" style of the early 20th-century Jingdezhen masters. Republic Period, Hand Painted, Oriental Art, Peonies, Peach Tree, Wall Hanging, Collectible Ceramics, Traditional Chinese Decor, Nature Scene.
