This set of four Chinese porcelain plaques features finely painted polychrome landscape scenes attributed to the renowned artist Zhang Zhitang (1893–1971). Each plaque depicts a unique vistas of towering misty mountains, serene waterways with small boats, and traditional pavilions nestled among lush pine and blossoming trees. The upper sections are adorned with poetic calligraphy and red seal marks, including a cyclical date for the Wuchen year (1928). Each porcelain panel is securely housed in a dark-stained hardwood frame featuring an ornate bronze hanging loop at the top.
