An antique Russian seven-piece silver serving cutlery set. Dated 19th century. Each piece is hallmarked on the handle and blade with an 84 silver standard and makers mark. Three non-silver blades are marked "Varypaev" and "Morozov" with Imperial warrant. Silver Weight: 249 g. The set comes in original Morozov wooden box. Fyodor Varypaev (1818–1900) was a Russian manufacturer of knives, scissors, and medical instruments. Trading house "I.E. Morozov and Sons" (1849–1917) was the largest jewelry and gold-silver company-store in pre-revolutionary St. Petersburg.
