Mixed media on board composition depicting a stylized, split-face female portrait, employing the artist's early surrealist "Dream Vision" technique with heavy textural relief. The verso is signed in Cyrillic "Safronov Nikas," dated "Vilnius 1982," and identifies the sitter as "Žuraitytė Aud...". The work bears an official export permission stamp from the Latvian SSR Ministry of Culture (Nr. 002276) and a handwritten poetic dedication by A. Martynov. Nikas Safronov (b. 1956) is a celebrated Russian artist who studied at the State Art Institute of Lithuania during this period.
