A fine antique Japanese cloisonne enamel over brass vase, dating to the late Meiji Era (1868–1912). Provenance: Estate of Eric Jansson, Roswell, Georgia. The vase features richly detailed polychrome enamel decoration with dragon motifs executed in the cloisonné technique on a black and brown ground, inlaid with goldstone accents. The rim and lip are intricately finished. Accompanied by a gold-tone stand fashioned in the form of a dragon. A distinguished example of antique Asian and Oriental enamel work, suitable for collectors of fine vases, tableware, decorative arts, and antiques.
