An antique French porcelain plate by Sevres. Dated ca. mid-19th century. Figurative border with gilt rims and pastoral landscape panels. The center is hand-painted with a view of Le Grand Trianon, Versailles. Signed "Guillon" in the lower left. Crowned monogram hallmark Sevres 1844, S 37, Chateau des Tuileries mark, and inscribed title are on the bottom. Sevres is a prominent French fine porcelain manufacture active since 1740 and owned by the French crown or government since 1759.
