An antique Japanese Komai-style damascened iron trinket or tobacco box. Late Meiji to Showa era, first quarter of the 20th century. Gold inlay bamboo tree and bird motifs decorate the hinged lid and the sides. Figurative hallmark on the inside. BRA mark on the bottom.
