This antique Chinese Canton enamel lidded box dates to the early 20th century and reflects the refined craftsmanship of Qing-period enamel work. The lid is decorated in polychrome enamels with a detailed interior scene depicting a seated woman within an interior setting, accompanied by flowering branches and a bird in a cage. The scene is finely rendered with rich coloration and careful attention to decorative detail. The sides of the box are adorned with shaped medallions featuring landscape scenes, interspersed with large floral motifs set against a vivid yellow ground, all executed in enamel. The strong contrast between the bright background and the intricate decoration enhances the visual appeal of the piece. The underside bears a blue seal mark, consistent with Qing-period attribution.
